John Wilson, formerly executive vice president of global field operations at Qualys, has joined cyber intelligence provider and Qinetiq subsidiary Cyveillance as an EVP.

Wilson will work to oversee the integration of new services into Cyveillance’s threat intelligence portfolio and form a professional services team to help customers with threat intelligence gathering and analysis work, Cyveillance said Monday.

“John is a highly respected executive and thought leader in the information security industry, ” said Scott Kaine, president of Cyveillance.

Wilson most recently led Qualys’ global sales team in providing vulnerability management, compliance and security services to government clients in the U.S. and overseas.

He also served as VP of security solutions for Verizon Business after Wilson held leadership roles within Fortune 500 and the U.S. Army.
