AECOM Technology Corp. (NYSE:ACM) has moved to grow its construction services business with the acquisition of Hunt Construction Group for an undisclosed amount.
Daniel McQuade, AECOM’s chief executive for construction services, said Tuesday the company that will integrate Hunt Construction’s sports, healthcare and aviation portfolios into AECOM’s construction services for commercial tall buildings, residential and hospitality clients.
Hunt Construction Group Chief Executive Mike Fratianni will retain his role with the operation and Chairman Emeritus Robert Hunt will also remain in his position.
“This important expansion of our build expertise reflects the continued advancement of our strategy to create an integrated delivery platform with superior capabilities to design, build, finance and operate infrastructure assets globally, †added Michael Burke, AECOM president and CEO.
“The addition of Hunt’s people and resources immediately makes AECOM one of the largest U.S. builders, †said Burke.
