Huntington Ingalls Buys Engineering, Project Mgmt Provider UPI

acquisitionHuntington Ingalls Industries (NYSE: HII) has purchased engineering and project management services provider UniversalPegasus International Holdings for an undisclosed amount.

Chris Kastner, corporate vice president and general manager for corporate development, will oversee the new subsidiary, Huntington Ingalls said Monday.

The Houston, Tx.-based company provides design, survey, inspection and construction management services to domestic and international customers

UPI also operates in Oklahoma, Illinois, Louisiana, Canada, the U.K. and Trinidad and Tobago.
