Bill Toti, former vice president and Navy–Marine Corps account executive at Hewlett-Packard‘s (NYSE: HPQ) enterprise services division, will join Cubic (NYSE: CUB) as president of mission support services and corporate senior vice president.

The move will take effect July 1 and Toti will succeed Jimmie Balentine, who is retiring after more than two decades with Cubic, the company said Thursday.

“Bill is a proven leader with a solid track record in mission-oriented businesses including large scale IT enterprises deployment and support, ” said Brad Feldmann, Cubic’s president and chief operating officer.

Balentine will serve as mission support services chairman until the end of the company’s 2014 fiscal year,  then support Toti as a part-time executive adviser.

At HP, Toti worked on IT strategy, service transition and operations and continuous service improvements for Navy and Marine Corps enterprise networks.

The 26-year Navy veteran has also served as vice president of Raytheon‘s (NYSE: RTN) mission support operations.
