Siki Giunta, formerly a cloud computing executive at Computer Sciences Corp. (NYSE: CSC) has joined Verizon Enterprise Solutions (NYSE: VZ) to lead the Verizon Cloud offering, Telecom Lead reported Friday.
Giunta will also oversee the company’s technology convergence work and connected offerings through wireline and wireless networks.
Her background includes service as CEO at both Fortisphere and Managed Objects, as well as leadership roles at Novell, OS/390, CA and Synapse.
Verizon Wireless, FiOS and enterprise information technology tools represented 84 percent of the company’s revenue in the fourth quarter of its 2013 fiscal year.
