Maggie Bauer: CCSi Adds NIH Biomedical, Health Science IT Support Task Order

healthcare-systemCreative Computing Solutions Inc. will work with a National Institutes of Health office to plan, design and implement information technology projects for medical research work under a potential five-year, $15.6 million task order.

The company was awarded the order under the Chief Information Officer—Solutions and Partners 3 contract vehicle and will partner with Bethesda, Md.-based IT firm Highrise Consulting, CCSi said Thursday.

For its part, Highrise Consulting will provide software development services to NIH.

“With this task order,  CCSi will extend our professional insight and experience in federal health services to support NIH’s biomedical and health science research, ” said Maggie Bauer, senior vice president of health services at CCSi.

NIH’s division of program coordination, planning and strategic initiatives chose the CCSi-Highrise team to help acquire IT products and services for medical research projects.

“As the federal government continues to place a high priority on healthcare and health services, it’s imperative we continue to advance medical research that improves our nation’s health, ” Bauer said.
