Kevin Robinson Named MTSI President and CEO; Phil Soucy Comments

Kevin Robinson, formerly vice president of strategic development at Modern Technology Solutions Inc., has been promoted to president and CEO at the Alexandria, Va.-based contractor.

He succeeds co-founder Phil Soucy, who will remain at MTSI as chairman of the board, MTSI said Monday.

“Since we began over 20 years ago, MTSI has experienced substantial growth and Kevin has been a key driver of this, ” Soucy said.

Soucy added that he believes Robinson’s leadership will help drive the firm for another 20 years.

Robinson joined MTSI in 1997 as an entrepreneur and director of the acquisition and technology group after serving in leadership roles at GRCI (now AT&T Federal).

Robinson became VP of strategic development in 2008 at MTSI after helping to open company offices nationwide and focusing his efforts on unmanned systems and missile defense programs.
