Jacobs Engineering Acquires Wireless Comms Provider FMHC; Kevin McMahon, John Cankar Comment

acquisitionJacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) has bought the assets of FMHC Corp., a provider of wireless communications services.

Chicago, Ill.-based FMHC works to design and build sites and deploy networks for wireless telecommunications customers, Jacobs Engineering said Tuesday.

Kevin McMahon, a Jacobs group vice president, said the acquisition is aimed at helping clients meet business requirements.

“We are very pleased to become part of Jacobs and look forward to adding our resources and services to their offerings in this market, enabling us to broaden the ways we are able to serve customers and to increase opportunities for our employees, ” said John Cankar, FMHC’s president.
