DynCorp to Help Maintain Navy Fleet Readiness Center Equipment; Jim Myles Comments

DyncorpLogoDynCorp International has won a one-year $27 million task order from the U.S. Air Force to help maintain and repair equipment at a U.S. Navy facility in Solomons, Md.

The task order was awarded under the Contract Field Teams program and covers maintenance work on the Navy Fleet Readiness Center’s aviation support equipment, DynCorp said Wednesday.

Jim Myles, senior vice president at DynAviation, said the company will continue its 30-year relationship with the Navy under this order.

Contract work will also include repairs of support equipment at sea.

The CFT program conducts maintenance, inspection, repair and modification work at organizational, depot and intermediate levels for operational government facilities around the world.
