This is the fifth award for the seven-year Compact ATR and Sustainable Environment program and the Air Force received seven offers for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts, the Defense Department said Tuesday.
Four other contractors were selected over the summer for the R&D work, which the Air Force wants to help reduce template and database dimensionality for some ATR functions.
The Air Force also aims for CASE to develop and demonstrate the ability to add new target representations into ATR databases quickly and potentially perform on-the-fly target insertions.
CASE will also involve technology demonstrations in both the laboratory and the field.
