The Navy will acquire five GQM-163A Coyote Supersonic Sea Skimming Target base vehicles, Australia will buy two vehicles and Japan will purchase one vehicle, the Defense Department said Thursday.
Sixty-five percent of contract purchases are for the Navy, 24 percent for Australia and the remaining 11 percent are for Japan.
The full-rate production contract covers lot seven and also includes hardware, kits and production support.
Fiscal year 2013 weapons procurement, Navy and foreign military sales funds are being used for this contract and Orbital Sciences will receive all funds at the time of award.
