Chris O’Ferrell Named CTO, Tempy Wright Marketing-Comm VP for QNA Cyveillance Subsidiary

CyveillanceLogoChris O’Ferrell, formerly a vice president at QinetiQ North America‘s Cyveillance subsidiary, has been promoted to chief technical officer as part of a management team expansion.

Former Dell SecureWorks executive Tempy Wright has also joined Cyveillance as VP of marketing and communications, Cyveillance said Tuesday.

O’Ferrell will oversee the subsidiary’s technical vision and technology development projects, while Wright will lead marketing and communications efforts.

“Chris and Tempy have many years of experience working with both corporate and federal organizations, and are passionate about developing security solutions to help keep our clients and their customers safe, ” said Scott Kaine, Cyveillance president.

“Enterprises urgently need to protect their people, infrastructure, and physical property, as well as respond to online threats faster and understand the actors behind them, ” Kaine added.

O’Ferrell has served in  senior management positions at companies such as Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH), Verizon (NYSE: VZ), Computer Sciences Corp. (NYSE: CSC), Science Applications International Corp. (NYSE: SAI), NetSec and TRW.

Wright previously led enterprise and Fortune 500 marketing strategies at Dell SecureWorks and held a nine-year career at VeriSign prior.
