Navy Awards $99M for Anti-Terror Program Hardware, Software

NavyC4ISRThree companies have won positions on a potential $99 million contract to design and install hardware and software for the U.S. Navy‘s anti-terrorism force protection programs.

Contractors will compete for task orders to perform work during the one-year base period and two option years if they are exercised, the Defense Department said Tuesday.

Sixteen proposals were submitted for the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity multiple award contract via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website.

Awardees include:

  • Alutiiq Pacific
  • Securityhunter
  • Split Pine Technologies

Securityhunter won the first task order to design, procure, install, integrate and test the hardware and software for a general enclave and automated vehicle gate at Naval Air Station Lemoore, Calif.

Work will support physical security access control at Navy shore installations and joint bases, the Pentagon says.
