Rich Martin, former chief information officer at data communications provider Transaction Network Services, has joined LGS Innovations as CIO.
The 20-year industry veteran will serve as technical and personnel leader at LGS and manage operations for activities related to information technology, the company said Tuesday.
Kevin Kelly, LGS CEO, said Martin will play a key role in the Alcatel-Lucent subsidiary’s efforts to research, develop and deploy network offerings for government customers.
At Transaction Network Services, Martin led a team of 40 employees in four countries and supported operations in 20 countries.
He also managed a $10 million operating budget there, LGS says.
Martin has created both IT organizations and technical infrastructures at both start-up firms and for large international companies, according to LGS.
