Lucia Sinapi-Thomas Named Capgemini Deputy CFO; Aiman Ezzat Comments

Lucia Sinapi-Thomas, corporate finance director at Capgemini Group since 1999, has been promoted to deputy chief financial officer.

The 21-year company veteran serves as an elected representative of employee shareholders and will report to CFO Aiman Ezzat in her new position, Capgemini said Thursday.

Sinapi-Thomas began her career with the consulting, technology and outsourcing services provider as group tax adviser in 1992 and led its investor relations portfolio between 1999 and 2005.

In 2005, she joined the company’s review panel on business risk management and insurance and was appointed to the board of directors in May 2012.

Ezzat said the company appointed Sinapi-Thomas for her knowledge of the group’s business and financial structure.
