KPMG Buys Hackett Group’s Oracle ERP Practice; Stephen Lis Comments

KPMGLogoKPMG LLP has acquired an Oracle (NASDAQ: ORCL) enterprise resource planning practice from The Hackett Gruop, a global strategic advisory and business transformation consulting firm.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed and KPMG becomes The Hackett Group’s preferred provider of Oracle ERP implementation services, KPMG said Wednesday.

Stephen Lis, KPMG’s U.S. leader for management consulting, said the firm acquired the practice with the goal of addressing demand for ERP capabilities.

“We’re very pleased to welcome these experienced ERP professionals to KPMG and look forward to their smooth transition into the firm, ” Lis added.
