MorganFranklin has completed the sale of its national security business to SRA International, MorganFranklin said Monday.

The company said the divestiture is part of plans to grow in its core business and management consulting business.

“We are focusing all energy and investment toward business consulting and expanding our financial management, performance improvement, and technology services to both commercial and government clients, ” said Robert Morgan, co-founder and CEO of MorganFranklin.

Ron Morgan, also a co-founder, discussed the transaction in a recent interview with our sister site ExecutiveBiz, where he also highlighted what the company saw in SRA as a partner (click here to read the full Q&A).

SRA said at the time of the December announcement that 180 MorganFranklin employees will move to SRA along with positions on contract vehicles with SRA’s existing customer base.
