STG Names Apptis, Unisys Vet Rick Attilio COO/CFO; Paul Fernandes Comments

STG Inc. has appointed Rick Attilio to the dual roles of chief operating officer and chief financial officer, the company announced Tuesday.

He will succeed Paul Fernandes, recently promoted to president, and will be responsible for helping the leadership team grow the company from a mid-tier to a large-cap firm.

Fernandes said the company has a roadmap for becoming a large cap company.

Attilio said his primary goal as COO is to to invest in growth and will focus on further developing internal processes to help accomplish that goal.

He most previously served as CFO at Apptis, where he oversaw all finance, accounting and administrative activities.

Prior to that, he spent 23 years at Unisys in several financial leadership positions including vice president of finance for the global public sector, his most recent position there.
