Novetta Solutions has appointed Rich Sawchak, formerly the chief financial officer at Schafer Corp., to serve as CFO and corporate secretary.
Novetta said he will be responsible for corporate finance, accounting, contracts, compliance, information technology and treasury management.
His CFO experience includes both private equity-backed and publicly-traded companies, CEO Peter LaMontagne said in a release.
At Schafer, where he also served as an executive vice president, Sawchak was responsible for finance, accounting, contract administration, compliance, human resources and recruiting.

Before joining Schafer, he served as senior VP and CFO at Paradigm Solutions, which was acquired last year by CACI International (NYSE: CACI).
He oversaw Paradigm’s finance, accounting, corporate development, recruiting and information technology functions.
