ENSCO PLC, an offshore drilling service provider, has announced that Chief Financial Officer James W. Swent III will be the company’s new executive vice president.
Swent has served as senior vice president and CFO since 2003 and will assume his new office immediately after relocating from London to Houston, Tx.
ENSCO President and CEO Dan Rabun said Swent helped the company through major 2011 acquisitions and during its redomestication to the UK in 2009.
As EVP, Swent will oversee the finance, accounting, treasury, tax, information technology, supply chain, human resources and investor relations and communications departments.
