SAIC Inc. (NYSE: SAI) has won a prime position on a potential $95 million blanket purchase agreement to support federal programs for defending against weapons of mass destruction.
SAIC said the BPA has one base year and four one-year options.
SAIC is one of three contractors who will compete for task orders to provide professional, technical, analytical and executive-level administrative services to the assistant defense secretary for nuclear, chemical and biological defense programs.
Work includes:
- nuclear-related technical assessments
- process and productivity improvements
- managing and integrating programs between or within federal agencies
The assistant secretary’s office reports to the defense undersecretary for acquisition, technology and logistics.
