L-3 Special Ops Satellite Contract Ceiling Increases to $207M

L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) has won a $50 million contract modification to provide satellite antennas to U.S. Special Operations Command.

The Defense Department said the modification increases the contract’s ceiling amount to $207 million.

L-3 will provide deployable node-medium, very small aperture terminal and small aperture terminals satellite antennas.

L-3 will perform work in Victor, N.Y. and the Pentagon expects work to complete by Sept. 30, 2015.

Special Operations Command’s procurement division, MacDill Air Force Base, Fla., is the contracting activity.
