Raytheon Wins $51M to Upgrade Patriot Missiles

Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) has won a $51.3 million follow-on contract to upgrade Patriot missiles, Raytheon announced Monday.

Raython said this award is part of a technology refreshment program initiated in 2000 by the U.S. Army‘s Aviation and Missile Command.

Raython said the upgrades will meet configuration requirements and the company is currently upgrading the missiles under existing contracts.

Work will be performed at Raytheon’s integral air and missile defense center in Andover, Mass.
