The U.S. Marine Corps has awarded BAE Systems $148.2 million in delivery orders to continue supporting Caiman mine-resistant ambush-protected vehicles, BAE announced Thursday.
BAE will provide:
- 371 rolling chassis with conversion kits
- Integration service for 1, 040 vehicles
- Procurement kits to upgrade the vehicles
- Underbody survivability kits
Work will be performed at BAE’s facility in Sealy, Tex., and deliveries are planned to continue throughout 2013.
