Air Force Awards Raytheon $179M for Field Support Services

The U.S. Air Force has awarded Raytheon Co.(NYSE: RTN) a $179.5 million follow-on contract for contractor field service support, the company announced Wednesday.

Under the contract, Raytheon will provide training and support for U-2 sensors, data links and the Air Force’s Distribution Common Ground System network.

The company reported it will also provide support to the Air National Guard and Predator Operations Center, the Air Force Flight Test Facility, the Consolidated Remote Operations-Facility Airborne and the DGS-X Test-bed Facility.

Raytheon said it has been a prime contractor on the Air Force DCGS contract since 1999.
