Citizant has promoted its director of contracts Susanne Bembers to vice president of contracts, the company announced today.
Bembers has served in the director role since joining Citizant in January 2011. She came to the company from Ashburn, Va.-based Forfeiture Support Associates, where she was head of the contracts department.
In that role, she directed and managed government contracting administration and performance.
The seven-year U.S. Army veteran has also managed government contracts for the Lewin Group, Infodata Systems and Vanguard Research Inc.
Bembers maintains several contracting-related academic credentials, including a bachelor’s degree in procurement and contracts management from George Mason University and a certificate in procurement and contracts management from the University of Virginia.
She also is a certified federal contracts manager with the National Contract Management Association.
