According to healthcare intelligence reports, the company generated greater revenue growth than during the third quarter of its 2011 fiscal year in its health, energy and civil solutions operating segment and its intelligence and cybersecurity solutions operating segment.

The company said revenues from healthcare IT consulting services helped drive up operating margins to 10.6 percent of revenue from 8.6 percent in the previous year period.

The company said this was driven by internal growth in airborne surveillance, intelligence analysis and cybersecurity programs. SAIC also reported higher material deliveries on an intelligence processing, exploitation and dissemination contract.
