ITT Corp. (NYSE: ITT) announced today that it has completed its acquisition of Blakers Pump Engineers, a long-time distributor of ITT’s Goulds Pumps brand in Australia, for an undisclosed amount.
ITT said the move will lengthen its reach and capabilities in the Australian oil, gas and mining industries.
Blakers supplies process and industrial quality pumping equipment and provides technical and after sales services. It has operations in Gladstone, Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne.
It also distributes ITT’s C’treat reverse osmosis watermakers that provide fresh water to offshore platforms.
