CSC Pulls in $6.7B in Quarterly Bookings; Half-Year Total Up 13%

Computer Sciences Corp. (NYSE: CSC) has released financial results for the second quarter of its 2012 fiscal year ended Sept. 30, 2011.

The company reported it won $6.6 billion in new business awards this quarter and that its half-year total is 13 percent greater than the first half of its 2011 fiscal year.

CSC said new business awards totaled $8.9 billion year-to-date basis, compared to $7.9 billion in the previous year.
