BAE Wins $132M Navy Award for Global C4ISR Support; Dave Herr Comments

The U.S. Navy has awarded BAE Systems a three-year task order worth up to $132 million to provide C4ISR technical services to support Navy operations around the world.

The Seaport-e award includes a one-year base term and two option years.

According to a Navy release, the contract was awarded by the Navy’s Special Communications Requirements Division and is a continuation of tasks BAE has been fulfilling for more than 25 years.

Under the contract, BAE is expected to perform maintenance, upgrades and logistics, while providing training and support for various equipment and systems.

“After 25 years, we are proud to have the opportunity to continue providing these critical services across the globe, ” said Dave Herr, president of BAE Systems Support Solutions.
