The Object Management Group (OMG) announced the election of board members after its quarterly meeting in Orlando, Fla.
The re-elected members include Sridhar Iyengar, an IBM Rational software expert and Richard A. Russel of Northrop Grumman Mission Systems.
“The unifying theme among the (board members) is tremendous expertise in delivering integrated information and business processes in many different vertical markets, exactly what OMG standards are designed to deliver, ” said Richard Mark Soley, the OMG CEO and chairman.
OMG is an international, open membership, not-for-profit computer industry standards consortium. OMG Task Forces develop enterprise integration standards for a wide range of technologies and an even wider range of industries.
