Lockheed Wins Potential $94.5M Contract to Support Navy Navigation System

Lockheed Martin‘s (NYSE: LMT) missions systems and sensors business has won a potential $94, 676, 774 cost-plus-incentive-fee, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract from the U.S.avy for fiscal year 2012 and 2013 U.S. and U.K. TRIDENT II navigation subsystem engineering support.

The company was awarded $39, 977, 957 to provide U.S. and U.K. fleet support, U.S. and U.K. trainer systems support, Ohio replacement program support, engineering refueling overhaul support and navigation subsystem studies.

Work is to be performed in Manassas, Va. and is expected to be complete by March 31, 2014. Contract funds of $30, 701, 193 expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

The contract was not competitively procured. The Strategic Systems Programs, Washington, D.C., is the contracting activity.
