Raytheon $42M Torpedo Award Extends Contract Value to $558M

Raytheon’s (NYSE: RTN) integrated defense systems business has won a potential $42, 640, 122 U.S. Navy award that could increase a total contract value to $558, 382, 473.

The award is for MK 54 mod 0 lightweight torpedo kit production.

Eighty percent of the work will be performed in Portsmouth, R.I., with the rest completed in Keyport, Wash. Work is expected to completed by October 2015.

Naval Sea Systems Command, Washington D.C., is the contracting activity.
