Navy Awards Max $211M IDIQ to Booz Allen, CSC, SAIC, BAE for Tactical Support

The U.S. Navy has awarded spots on a potential $210, 568, 360 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to BAE Systems, Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH), CSC (NYSE: CSC) and SAIC (NYSE: SAI).

Awardees will provide tactical, strategic and support services for the Navy and other Defense Department and federal agencies on the multiple-award, cost-plus-fixed-fee, performance-based contract.

Ninety-percent of the work will be performed in Charleston, S.C., with the rest done in Washington, D.C.

Initial work orders amounting to up to $40, 055, 252 are expected to be completed by September 2012. Contract options could push the total work completion date to September 2016.

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic, Charleston, S.C., is the contracting activity.
