TASC Appoints SAIC’s John Hynes as SVP of Defense and Civil Group; David Langstaff Comments

TASC, Inc. has appointed John P. Hynes Jr. as senior vice president of its defense and civil group.

Hynes returns to TASC from SAIC (NYSE: SAI) where he served as senior vice president and general manager of the mission support business unit.

He worked at TASC from 1990 to 2001, where he rose to the rank of program manager and director of a business unit focused on geospatial systems and text processing.

He has also worked for ManTech International as president of security and mission assurance.

Hynes previously served eight years in the U.S. Navy, where he was a naval aviator and intelligence analyst and department head at the Naval Operational Intelligence Center.
