Lockheed to Provide Army with Unmanned Aerial Systems Technologies under $47M Contact

The U.S. Army has awarded Lockheed Martin, Mission Systems & Sensors (NYSE: LMT), Owego, N.Y., a $47 million cost-plus-fixed-fee contract.

Lockheed will provide autonomous technologies for unmanned aerial systems to maximize performance requirements and capabilities with mature technologies.

Work will be performed in Owego, N.Y., with an estimated completion date of June 29, 2016.  One bid was solicited, with one bid received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Fort Eustis, Va., is the contracting activity.
