Kratos to Provide Systems Engineering and Program Management for Naval Surface Combat Fleet

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ: KTOS) has won a $15, 165, 201 contract modification to provide professional support services to the Office of the Chief of Naval Operations.

Kratos will provide systems engineering, program management and financial management support for the Naval surface combat fleet at the Pentagon, Navy Annex, and Crystal City locations. The support includes:

  • critical concept of operations analyses
  • development of operational requirements
  • subject matter experts
  • critical budget and finance support.

Work will be performed in Washington, D.C. metro area and is expected to be completed by August 2012.

“We are extremely pleased to receive this sizable award and to continue our long-standing support for the OPNAV N86 surface warfare community, ” said Tim Harmon, vice president of Kratos’ military services business unit. “Our analysts provide valuable subject matter expertise and financial management to support decisions made by the most senior members of the Navy leadership in developing and executing program budgets.”
