Raytheon Wins $51.5M Navy Satellite Communications Contract

The U.S. Navy has awarded Raytheon Technical Services (NYSE: RTN), Norfolk, Va., a $51, 586, 233 fixed-price performance-based logistics contract to support the AN/USC-38 extremely high frequency satellite communications program.

The contract was not competitively procured and contract funds will not expire before the end of the current fiscal year.

Work will be evenly split between Norfolk, Va.  and Chula Vista, Calif. and is expected to be completed by June 2016.  The Naval Inventory Control Point, Mechanicsburg, Pa., is the contracting activity.
