Raytheon to Support Navy Over-the-Horizon Radar System for Up To $75M

The U.S. Navy has awarded Raytheon Technical Services (NYSE: RTN), Dulles, Va., a $18, 750, 163 firm-fixed-price, cost-reimbursable, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract.

Raytheon will support the Navy Forces Surveillance Support Center’s relocatable over-the-horizon radar system.

The contract has a one-year base period. Its three one-year option periods could make the contract worth an estimated $74, 787, 220.

This contract was solicited through full and open competition, with two offers received. Contract funds will not expire before the end of the current fiscal year

Work will be performed in Chesapeake, Va., Kingsville, Texas and Vieques, Puerto Rico and is expected to be completed by July 2012.  The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity.
