Deltek Sees Numbers Jump in New Financial Report

Deltek (Nasdaq: PROJ) pointed to a number of positive results when it issued its financial report for the quarter ended March 31.

According to the firm, software revenue was up four percent to  $14.6 million while product-related bookings were $16.9 million, a 34 percent jump from the first quarter of 2010. Maintenance revenue in the first quarter was up about 17 percent to $38.2 million.

“Our Q1 results reflect our successful expansion into new verticals and geographies as well as continuing success selling solutions into existing market segments, ” CEO Kevin Parker said. “We won key deals internationally, with over 30 percent of license revenue generated outside the U.S. Q1 product-related bookings were $16.9 million, an increase of 34 percent from a year ago, highlighting our increasing momentum in the marketplace.
