Red Hat, NTT Communications Grow Cloud Relationship

Red Hat (NYSE: RHT) and NTT Communications have reached an agreement that will see NTT expand its use of Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.

Red Hat and NTT Communications joined up for cloud work last year.

“As part of our growing cloud partnership with NTT Communications, Red Hat Enterprise Linux has become an important security construct on Biz Hosting Basic, which is an excellent proof point in Red Hat Enterprise Linux’s ability to meet the stringent security requirements of both on- and off-premise cloud deployments in today’s computing environments, ” said Scott Crenshaw, vice president and general manager, Cloud Business at Red Hat. “NTT Communications’ expanded use of Red Hat Enterprise Virtualization also signals its strength as a foundation for cloud deployments. We look forward to continuing to help NTT Communications and its cloud customers innovate with cloud technology based on Red Hat solutions.”
