Harris (NYSE: HRS) booked a $4.6 million order from an unidentified nation in eastern Africa for Falcon III and Falcon II tactical radios.
According to the firm, “Harris will provide the nation with the Falcon III RF-7800V Very-High Frequency (VHF) Combat Net Radio for high-speed voice and data. The RF-7800V provides high-speed data connectivity up to 192 Kbps, enabling wireless streaming video and high-resolution file sharing on the battlefield. The RF-7800V provides continuous coverage in the 30 to 108 MHZ frequency band at up to 50 watts of power.”
