General Dynamics Pins Down Army Work

According to the Department of Defense, “General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) was awarded an $8, 400, 000 cost-plus-fixed-fee contract.  The award will provide for the technical support for the Abrams Tank program.  Work will be performed in Sterling Heights, Mich., with an estimated completion date of Dec. 19, 2011.  One bid was solicited with one bid received.  The U.S. Army Contracting Command, Warren, Mich., is the contracting activity (W56HZV-07-C-0046).”
