SAIC, TASC Win Deals from Defense Threat Reduction Agency

According to the Department of Defense, “TASC is being awarded a $97, 000, 000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, for advisory and assistance services.  Work will be performed at Fort Belvoir, Va., and is expected to be completed by March 2016.  Effort contains both research and development and operation and maintenance funding.  Operation and maintenance contract funds will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Four bids were received.  The Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (HDTRA1-11-D-00002).

“SAIC (NYSE: SAI) was awarded a $23, 107, 037 cost-plus fixed-fee task order under the Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD) defeat technology indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for phase three of the Integrated WMD Toolset (IWMDT).  The contractor will provide the development and integration architecture framework to support the Defense Threat Reduction Agency technology transfer, gateway and portal use.  In addition, the contractor will support the development, maintenance, and update responsibilities as needed for common software and support documentation to efficiently facilitate tool developer participation and integration into the IWMDT.  The work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed by March 6, 2014.  Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  One proposal was solicited and one was received.  The Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Fort Belvoir, Va., is the contracting activity (DTRA01-03-D-0017-0055).”
