Harris, Johns Hopkins Working Towards Medical Image Management Solutions

Harris (NYSE:HRS) is teaming with Johns Hopkins Medicine for a joint venture to develop new solutions for medical image management.

The team will look to create solutions to be deployed by the Johns Hopkins Health System, then to healthcare providers around the country.

“Our joint venture marks an unprecedented opportunity to develop new medical imaging services and solutions leveraging the information sciences at the point of care, ” said Jim Traficant, vice president and general manager, Harris Healthcare Solutions. “Harris is honored to collaborate with Johns Hopkins Medicine, one of the premier hospital and medical academic systems in the country.”
