L-3 (NYSE: LLL) signed a contract modification with NASA worth $49 million.
The firm supports simulation and software technology operations for Johnson Space Center’s Software, Robotics and Simulation Division. L-3 is focused on design, development, testing and operations of intelligent systems, robotic systems, spacecraft flight software systems and real-time simulation systems.
According to NASA, “L-3 Services also provides engineering support in the areas of automation and intelligent systems, as well as telerobotics and autonomous robotic systems for ground and spaceflight applications.”
