Honeywell Grabs Lucrative Army Contract

According to the Department of Defense, “Honeywell (NYSE: HON) was awarded a $43, 726, 990 firm-fixed-price contract. The award will provide for 50 T55-GA-714A engines and 30 T55-GA-714A engine fielding kits.  Work will be performed in Phoenix, Ariz., with an estimated completion date of Dec. 31, 2013.  One bid was solicited with one bid received.  The U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, Redstone Arsenal, Ala., is the contracting activity (W58RGZ-04-C-0061).”
