SAIC (NYSE: SAI) picked up an extension from NASA for the Unified NASA Information Technology Services contract.
With the agreement, SAIC will continue IT support for the NASA Information Technology Service Network.
The extension carries a potential total of more than $62 million if all options are exercised.
“We have provided the critical IT services necessary to operate and maintain NASA’s set of integrated enterprise services since 2004, ” Doug Wagoner, SAIC senior vice president and business unit general manager, said. “We look forward to continuing to provide these services to all ten NASA field centers, NASA Headquarters in Washington, the NASA Shared Services Center, and international NASA partners to support NASA’s focus on pioneering the future in space exploration, scientific discovery and aeronautics research.”
