Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) won a contract from the Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery.
The deal carries a value at $10.7 million over 27 months.
According to the firm, Booz Allen “will provide on-site primary support and technical services to the BUMED M6/Chief Information Officer (CIO) office. Additionally, Booz Allen will provide governance and strategic planning services to facilitate the timely access, sharing, and protection of medical information worldwide.”
“BUMED serves a vital mission in providing quality healthcare services to sailors and Marines worldwide, ” Senior VP Natalie Givans said. “Whether at sea, on the battlefield, or in a CONUS deployment, BUMED is relied upon to provide critical mission support, which requires real-time access to secure and accurate medical information and reliable IT services.”
