BAE Systems Books $374 Million in Deals with DIA, Army

BAE Systems increased it workload, signing multiple contracts for a total $374 million.

The DIA awarded the firm a pair of five-year task orders under the Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise contract totaling approximately $350 million.

“We are very pleased with the opportunity to bring our years of experience in supporting DIA’s IT needs to the next level. We are thankful for the DIA’s confidence in our innovations in services delivery approach that will deliver DIA’s global enterprise re-engineering initiative, ” said Rick Schieffelin, vice president and general manager of Advanced IT Mission Solutions, BAE Systems.

The firm also secured three contract modifications worth a total of $24.5 million to upgrade and support for Bradley Fighting Vehicles.

“The services under this contract provide continued upgrades to one of the U.S. Army’s most survivable vehicles, ” said Joe McCarthy, vice president of the Heavy Brigade Combat Team at BAE Systems. “These contract modifications also reflect BAE Systems’ continued commitment in supporting the soldier and the Heavy Brigade Combat Team through fleet life cycle management.”
